Prices would suggest most within this field are still much chased/ collected - especially for the gret rarities - below - one flew to £2,000 hammer.

 I have been looking at the BBR advertising auctions over the last three years.

I still have BBR Antique Advertising catalogues from the turn of the century. Looking through them I see / remember lots of superb pieces. Collecting adverts, tins and unusual smoothing irons did stretch my budget to breaking point, Most of my collection is through getting up at 5am and visiting fairs

 It is..Most expensive tin I have bought..I think it was a night I drank 4 pints..Next day seeing what I had spent I drank 4 more pints  (its behind a soapstone statuette, that only cost £2 ,well in the past)....My first Victorian card advert was pushed into my hands by a stall holder demanding £1...those were the days..Still got the card advert.
