I presume Kennett & Com you've missed the past 3 yrs of LIVE online auctions @ BBR on easlive?

We've dispersed TWO major collections of Advertising figures - from some over 3 feet tall to rubberoid & early plastic types - covering the entire variety of products.

ALL the past 40 catalogues can be viewed, & searched. Here's the link to three for your perusal:
www.easyliveauction.com/catalogue/f...20¤tPage=1

www.easyliveauction.com/catalogue/f...20¤tPage=1

www.easyliveauction.com/catalogue/6...20¤tPage=1

Prices would suggest most within this field are still much chased/ collected - especially for the gret rarities - below - one flew to £2,000 hammer.

I have been looking at the BBR advertising auctions over the last three years.

I still have BBR Antique Advertising catalogues from the turn of the century. Looking through them I see / remember lots of superb pieces. Collecting adverts, tins and unusual smoothing irons did stretch my budget to breaking point, Most of my collection is through getting up at 5am and visiting fairs

A few more bits pictured below.,,cannot rotate one

There you go Ken . Some fabulous examples in there .
Times have changed since you put that lot together .
Very difficult today to find high quality tins ..as you know .
I've never seen the Tipperary Toffee

Is that a 'late and early' tin behind the bisque figure?

Thanks.

Al.

It is..Most expensive tin I have bought..I think it was a night I drank 4 pints..Next day seeing what I had spent I drank 4 more pints  (its behind a soapstone statuette, that only cost £2 ,well in the past)....My first Victorian card advert was pushed into my hands by a stall holder demanding £1...those were the days..Still got the card advert.
