Having viewed this piece. Once on a stall at Elsecar & again in auction. I believe it isn't original

I do not have specific information regarding that actual item but I can clarify 100% that Fry’s did a kilty boy at this size as I found old photographic reference of one in a shop window

Thanks Arkwright for the info. I have seen an image of the larger figure. When I viewed this particular one ( twice) It has been over painted & lacked the crispness of the original. I enquired with the dealer, who had it on his stall, he was also unconvinced of it's authenticity. Anyway it's still an impressive thing.
