Cheers lads..The sign was about 30ft up in the air..I remember it was pissing down of rain but that didnt put me an My Old Man off..To be honest the sign put up a good fight..The last couple of Pings nearly chukked him off..Its The one sign i would never sell no matter how much it could be worth..Even if your not into enamels it just looks great in any surrounding imo..

Great story. You should search the county archives and find a pic of it in situ, then have the picture and receipt framed with some nice matting, mount it beside sign on wall ! Great conversation and historical piece.
