HI, I have a bowser pump type 41 , My understanding is that these pumps were sold for many many years (1900s to 1950s ) with very little change which brings me to my question.I have noted some of the design changes that took place   but cannot put an approx date to which era each  pump design  comes from , any further information on these pumps or any other changes or knowledge about them   would be great to hear about . I appeciate that the purists may not the like  adorments I have added to my pump and   also  that I painted the pump green and not the original red as the pump was used for parraffin in it's final years . Although these pumps are relatively  undesireable I find early  the motoring era  very interesting .

Afraid I know nothing about pumps but I did design and build this website many years ago. It's still active and functioning well.
