I've just had a listing removed by eBay, they've stated a new policy. I've called them, it's clear that you now cannot sell any items containing the original tobacco product, even 100 year old cigarettes. This is the beginning of the end for selling and buying this stuff on eBay. If anyone's interested, I have 6 packets of Piccadilly cigarettes from the 60's for sale, all unopened and sealed in good condition.

Could this be the beginning of the end for selling ANY smoking material ANYWHERE - much like ivory?

The problem it seems to me is that a very small percentage of the population

shout loud and is heard  the ordinary man/woman is to busy getting on with there  life

and is the silent majority whose opinion is never asked for and thefore can lose out

I don’t think they will stop the selling of tobacco packaging, but I guess I can see why they would need to stop the selling of live packets. I know we think it’s a really bad thing for the hobby, which it is, but legally I suppose they need to cover themselves.

Just use the word " Faux " live or " Faux " tobacco should be alright. There are hundreds of Faux tortoiseshell and Faux sharks teeth on there that sell every week

I've seen 3 items on ebay just today that are "live" or "with original content".

You just have to word it right and hope no one reports it.

The £1651 the 8 foot + x 4ft ogdens guinea gold sign just made on eBay completely blows two myths out the water, seems both tobacco and large signs are still highly sought after
