This is a sign I've never come across before, and dates from around 1905, so very early for motoring advertising. The name in the corner of the sign is A J Wilson & Co. Ltd. 154 Clerkenwell Road London. I an unsure this company were actual makers of the sign, I believe they were involved in the distribution of the Magnetos over here. I gues this well and truely tailed off once WW1 started? A bit battered and bruised. Its for the off on receipt of a respectable offer. stephenboyne@msn.com .
