This "Saumopoulo" cigarette tin is not one I have seen before. Manufactured by W H & J Woods of Preston, Lancs. Founded in 1800 and based at Derby St, later moving to Church St. I had great difficulty in finding this brand name which turned up in 1921 "Tobacco News". It is a very colourful tin. This company produced very popular brands of  tobacco and cigarettes incl: "Crown" -" Purple Heather" - "Perfection Flake" - and "Too Good" Flake which I have also shown and many others. Anyone come across this brand????

Glad you like the tins. I think the "Saumopoulo" brand tin may have been used to top up a cabinet with loose cigarettes sold by weight although have never seen a Woods cabinet.

The "Too Good" flake tin is one I have shown before and have attached framed advertising card for same brand in distressed state.
