Hello All,

Myself and Andy Burns are organising a small fair based on advertising here in York. The dates are Sat Nov 17th. It is at the New Earswick Folk Hall, around 2 miles from centre of York.

Tables will be around £20, dealers get free tea coffee and biccies!

We're not aiming to make profit but would like to get a fair off the mark at a time of year when there isnt much on.

I will also try and get local hotels to give us a show rate.

In the evening we'll plan a social for those staying over.

The folk hall is in the model village of New Earswick which has bus links into the city centre for partners who dont want to do the show but would prefer a day in our beautiful city.

Getting a fair bit of interest. Tykey has offered to bring some signs from his impressive collection to see so that’s worth coming for alone.
All are welcome looking to have a social later, Andy is looking at accommodation deals for those wanting to stay.

Hoping to see BBR there too hint hint Alan!

It’s also a celebration as it’ll be Dan Carters’ 70th.

 Yes will certainly put out some signs to display. As the venue is within site of (and was built by) the Rowntrees family firm it would be nice to display a selection of Rowntrees wares, not just enamels. Would definately generate some local interest too. How about it, fellow collectors?

Well worth asking a graphic designer to drum up a sexy poster - I can print out A4 & A3 colur for you?
