 Hi, DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT LNS STANDS FOR ON MY

ENAMEL SOAP SIGN, I HAVE SEEN OTHER LETTERS ON 

HUDSONS SOAPS AS WELL.  ALSO JUST A THOUGHT, WOULD A

SHOP OWNER  HAVE RECEIVED ANY MONEY FOR DISPLAYING

AN ENAMEL SIGN  ON HIS SHOP FRONTAGE ?

 That looks like the one recently on ebay with the buy it now? I was put off by the apparent rubbing over the surface of the colours, but it is an early piece, 1885?

Phew, You could collect a lot of different hudsons with all the shapes and all the letters !! I wonder how many different ones there are including of course the 4 different coloured balloons, Love to see them altogether ! WOW !

 Here are the three different size cut outs. Large medium and small, all with different lettering in the torch.

LNS. Leaves No Smell.

MLC. Makes linen Clean

IFP.  In Fine Powder.

Is it somehow possible to move this thread to the Collecting Enamel Signs thread??

I'm not sure what Hudson's Soap has to do with Tobacco and Smoking.....
