Absolutely. Standard Hudson's colours of red, yellow & green as they were made for Advertising. They pre-date the enameled-iron dog bowls. Hand painted lettering. You can see them on Advertising Inserts.

There we go... they were painted red and had white enamel on the inside. Don't be fooled by repro's!

No im not fooled by any Reproz..So, i can understand the Red paint as from the pics you posted of tins above they look red,,but Hudsons letters on front look white not green

Were they painted?... Yes.
Should the inner bowl be enamelled in white?... Yes.
The lettering colours can vary.
Quite a few of these have been dug up from tips in the past and traces of original lettering paint detected as yellow or green.
