Hello all.

This dapper chap has just arrived from the States to take up permanent residency in my living room. Love him, and I once owned an identical example that I purchased from a junk shop in my university days, but had to sell him just to cover my rent one month. So, I'm well pleased to track down another example.

Does anyone know if he's British or American made?

Regards.

Is Penfold American?

Looks English manufacture though. Great thing.

Pretty sure Penfold was British, What I can tell you for definite is that Penfold made balls with the four suits on them ' hearts, clubs, diamonds, Spades ' hence the penfold ace golf ball.
Forty five odd years ago my mum , brother and I would walk thru Betchworth golf course to meet my Dad coming home from work. Somewhere in his sheds will be buckets of 45 year old golf balls found on many a summers evening. Lots of which will be ' Penfolds '

Aaaah ! those were the days !!
