Langcat no one said anythin about overseas made signs been shitty did they mate? At the end of the day this site is a British site for people who collect British enamel signs..Thats what it says when you visit the Home page and become a member if you wish to do so...People from All over the world are welcome..If i joined a foreign collecting enamel sign forum i wouldnt have an issue with some foreign member saying that he or she finds British made signs not quite up to the standard of theirs...

 As a British collector I love continental signs   - even if they are out of my price range. Would love to own these two: Maybe father Christmas will bring them to me!

I don't mind the Ripolin, but you couldn't pay me to put the Adamas on my wall.

I actually don't mind the Cinzano, but that is crazy money.

Bit of a Continental Dunmmy Spit there  .. While there are many desirable Continental signs , for me , most seem to have a Cartoony Caricature look to them . Arty and appealing , but just don't have that old world nostalgic thing that most British signs have .
British  preferred for me .. and much the same with advertising tins .. some of the early Victorian British Lithographeed tins are unbeatable  .

The Van Houtens looks like an Harley Davidson ad..The ship sign has no real fine detail and looks like a poster..The paint sign looks like a child as drawn it at school..
