Hi.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask...

I recently picked up these two local bottles (The Black Country) as I thought they'd look great on our bookshelf. These are my first advertising/bottle pieces so I don't really have any knowledge on them. I've read about some "fake" bottles that were made to look old and wanted to make sure that they're original. I guess this would be the right place to find out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

John

Hi John

Welcome to the forum, and the mad world of bottles, advertising, enamels, tins, showcards etc, etc

Both your items are right as rain

Large flagon and a Stoneware Ginger beer bottle ( about the same date as the flagon )

cheers lummox

Thank you so much for your help. I assumed that was the case but it's nice to have it confirmed. Now I need to start filling the rest of the house...

Cheers

John
