 Ben Bullock (founder of Slade and Bullock) was a really interesting character. Started out as a miner in Burnley before moving to Dewsbury and starting up a confectionery business.

 Always liked this Parkinson's tin... one of the better sweet tins with good chromo. Hard to track down these days though.

Not long since started collecting these Doncaster Butterscotch tins, heres the three I have so far

Here's a nice Victory Gums pail from Fryer & Co. Still got its lid.
