I'm fairly sure this is the oldest wine bar in London, possibly England. Its at the side of Charing Cross with a side entrance. Dark, cave like and very hot when bursting with drinkers.

The enamel sign has always been there, glad that no one has nicked it.

 

There are two of them; made by Permanent Fleet Street who judging by these and the two signs I've got by them only had blue and yellow enamel available.
