This Cavander's "Army Club" die-cut showcard is in nice condition and measures 12" X 11" approx. The "Cavander's" tobacco manufacturers were a very old company who started up in Portsmouth and moved to a number of addresses in London finally at 112, Commercial St, London E. Became a branch of the United Kingdom Tobacco Co, Ltd and then absorbed into Godfrey Philips Ltd. There are a number of variations of "Army Club" but Sandhurst Size was introduced in 1924.

 Hi Lummox,

Glad you like the "Army Club" showcard. I have three of their tins but  can only find a picture of the large one. Also, posted is the Cavander's "Navy Cut" calendar, which I have posted before. When you think that the firm Cavander's, which is a very old firm, there are very few of their items about.
