Always regretted letting this one go a few years ago. Thanx to Rob for a little swap and thanx to Steve for a little repair .... its now back with me

My favourite sign!
I have one too ...your one is a beauty though. The skin round the eye on my one is more faded.
Got my one for £40 in 1988.

Yes it's potentially a disturbing sign. I like the big hypnotic eye and weird lettering.
Talking of nightmarish signs - the one that gives me the creeps is the Volvolutum which has a picture of a woman with a massive hand instead of a head.

That Volvolutum sign you mention is really one of the most bizarre images, but only ever seen one good one, and an average one.

The Strange's sign is a classic image, and one on my list; both versions here are very appealing, but the quirkiness of the first just has the edge! Love it!
