Thought ....hopefully you might all be interested in these. Two georgian Masonic COMPASS JEWELS both c 1800 - 1815. Yes one is bigger than the other ..........but one is Suter hartmann, BP Winner class, and the other a very rusty Lyons Tea or even a humble Atcost !!

The Larger is Sterling silver hallmarked by top quality Silversmith BATEMAN, absolute premier piece belonging to a very rich individual.

The Smaller is bronze plated, and has been hand fairly poorly artisan made and on close inspection has been cut out of the Chapter plate of a Grandfather clock face or similar, You can see remnants of the roman numerals.

 

In some ways I prefer the latter as much more history
