F & J Smith were formed in 1859 with their Tobacco & Snuff factory at 151/163, George St, Glasgow and at North Albion St, Glasgow. Much later, they moved to 36, St Andrew Sqare, Glasgow. Joined the ITC in 1901 and consolidated with Mitchells in 1927. This "Bugle Call" mixture is quite a rare tin and in good condition. The brand first introduced in 1895 and withdrawn in 1910. Some of the other brands from this firm : "Cup Tie" - "Glory's Reward" - "Morning Gallop" - "Regimental" - "Wild Geranium" etc etc

 Hi Lummox,

Glad you like the "Bugle Call" it is a nice tin. Have posted my "Wild Geranium" tin which I have shown before but such a nice tin it is worth another look. The brand was introduced in 1893 and withdrawn in 1925.
