Hi

Just joined this site and still finding my way around.

Collected a lot of stuff in the last century! Before repro's had taken off.
So now I am getting on a bit and wanting to move, I am now looking to thin down my collection - sad but that’s life!
I may have some items that may be of interest to members of this site, so thought I would try a couple of items as a precursor. All items can be inspected.
Way out of touch with current pricing, but as my wise old granny used to say – “You can always come down in price, you can never go up!” So I’ll put a couple of items up and you can either criticise me, advise me, - or even make an offer!

Cheers Mike

Rowntree's £250 ono

Small Goldflake Double sided £250

I completely agree with banjo boy,I don't want to see Mike lose his collection for a fraction of its potential value.Ebay is the best option, even just for cash on collection only then every party interested will have a shot.
Regards

Many thanks for all the help and honest advice I have received from several people directly and indirectly. Much appreciated.
I will have to change my approach when putting up more items!
I understand the comments about Ebay but past Ebay experiences have only confirmed I would prefer a more personal and interactive approach to selling items.
As a collector and someone who appreciates all the various items and collections I see on a site like this, I much prefer to offer items directly to collectors and come to some mutual agreement on price, so offers are always welcome, you never know!
I will get back to all the people who have contacted me regarding items.

 Welcome Mike,

I collected enamels from 1970 up to around 2005. (120) All very good condition.

I started selling these off - I am 65 now.

Including cameras and other collectables I have now got rid of 110 items, I can say that the advantage with ebay is the sheer GLOBAL REACH they have.

On ebay I have sold  to Sweden, Slovenia, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, Hong Kong, Ireland, UK it goes on. And just 10% commission.

Cheers
