'don't go that far north' - Ross - the centre of Great Britain is Haltwhistle - in Northumberland, its about 200 miles further on, and 10 degrees colder, than Newark runway. Come on my friend you,ve managed to get to York before now, and survived!

Magnificent example of this colourful and fascinating museum piece (22cm x 17cm x 14cm).  Each panel has a separate illustration which carries political meaning.  These include "Mr & Mrs Gladstone at Home"; "A Poltical Cricketer"; "Politicians on the Switchback" - Mr Tim Healy & Mr Parnell on a car labelled 'Home Rule' and Mr Simead Bartlett & Lord Randolph Churchill on one named 'Union'; "Lord Hartington en route from Hardwick to Chatsworth"; "Lady Randolph Churchill is called for"; "Truth and Temperance".  The tin is in fine condition, with a separate internal lid.

Email me if you are interested to buy it: szofita@gmail.com
