My first vist to Elsecar and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Sunday auction was very well attended, great atmosphere and loads of stalls although mainly bottles etc. However, did not come home empty handed purchased a couple of nice tins and learnt a lot about "inks" and other bottles/jars from an avid collector from Essex.Have posted a couple of photo's

Glad you enjoyed it Bacco. Re photo's, did you take any others of stalls etc or specific items that would be of interest to the Forum ? I'm afraid i didn't find those of the people attending very interesting but thanks for posting as it will give those southern members an idea of what it's like' up north'.
