I'm generally and enamels man but saw this at auction recently and couldn't resist. Need to get the hairline repaired, but it still looks super in the kitchen. Never seen another. How old do we think it is? Best, Dunc

A lovely churn. I should think it's late Victorian, c.1890 / 1900. I was tempted myself but the condition worried me a bit. However, now I think about it I realise that was a mistake and you did the right thing!

Hi Dunc

Lovely piece !! ... just a little later than that, Doulton introduced that mark in 1902 when the Royal warrant of Edward Vii was granted , ran to the early 1920's if my memory is holding up . Only seen a couple before great thing !!
