Picked up this tin at a fair in Worcester.Although not in best of condition and I only collect British tins normally, but I was attracted by the label on it. !st Wessex Brigade, Royal Field Artillery which was a volunteer force set up in 1859 to 1908 when it amalgamated with other regiments. It is unusual to find foreign manufacturers supplying British Regiments with cigarettes. The manufacturer G. Cousis & Co had a factory on Malta in Valleta and supplied cigarettes/tobacco to Japanese/ Tunisian and German Regiments. The inside of the tin is lined with card presumably to help keep the tobacco fresh. Anyone come across this company???

Have included a couple of the companies other brands taken from the publication "History of the Greek Cigarette".
