Yes Pete - what a difference ten years made to the collection. That was the next house I bought when interest rates were around 15%! I remember you and Jackie coming to see us there. I must have been earning a bit more money by 87 ...happy days.

Great tins Nige. The Parkinson's is a fabulous tin with lovely early chromo. It has that 'Rowntree's' feel about it. Love the miniatures mate. My cricket bat still has the cacous balls inside.

Cheers Mel. Nice bright tins there in good nick. I reckon there's 17/6d there on the table. You could get a decent Dinky Toy for a ten bob note and three half-crowns in the 1950s!

 This was a very lucky find early doors at Shepton Flea last year and came at a very reasonable price. Brightened up one of those days when sales could have been better! Always helps if you find something for the collection... always loved toffee tins.
