I’m also not really sure how social distancing could work at a fair.
You guys all know the drill – get there early, zoom in and out of each stall holders pitch, looking over other people’s shoulders, trying to be the first to spot and bag a gem. The best stuff goes in the first 10min, there is no way social distancing could work in this situation.
Imagine, each stall holder has a controlled queuing system, with people lined up 2m apart and then lets in only one or two people at a time. It would be like trying to get onto rides at Disneyland and take you a week to get around somewhere like Peterborough! Could you see this working somewhere like Kempton where everyone is quite wedged in? The inside stall holders will have no chance.
I think the only feasible buying route at the moment is the evil-Bay and soon the auction houses for online only (no previewing) – just hate the buyer premiums and shipping costs.
Until we have a ‘Treatment’ for this virus (a ‘Vaccine’ very unlikely for the foreseeable future) then at least if you did catch it, you can take the treatment at home and avoid possibly ending up in hospital on a ventilator.
