Lovely Brian. Over the last few years I’ve been very tempted to start buying a few ciggy tins but so far have refrained! I don’t think I should look at this thread!

 HI FB,

That "Cut Golden Bar" looks in excellent condition. "Shieldhall" is an area of Glasgow and the base  for the Scottish Cooperative Wholesale Society. This "Municipal Flake" manufactured by the SCWS. The Co-operative Society were quite big in the manufacturing of tobacco & cigarettes.

Don't look Arkwright's... you have 'Expensive' taste when it comes to tins!

Great to see that Glasgow store/factory Bacco... I wonder if the building still stands?

Here's another of my favourite baccy tins. Anyone got a 'Mountain Heatherdew' to show us?

 Hi FB,

That "Diamond Jubilee Flake" looks in mint condition and much better than mine. Here is the partner for your "Main Line Flake" posted . Both very nice tins.

Thanks for posting the 2nd type Main Line Bacco, its in lovely condition. In that condition must be worth 5-600. Mine only cost a fiver from the old Knebworth Park Bottle Show... tipped on to the grass from a trailer full of junk! Those were the days.

That "Great Auk" is a nice tin and in reasonable condition. I like this "Golden Chain" tin by Williams & Co, Chester. Circa 1906.

Fantastic 1oz Bacco. Very RARE tin. The ship looks to be steam and sail powered.
