 Hi, thanks lummox for posting pics ,the phone is GPO telephone no 1, & regarding the poster it was part of a series designed to be motivational to  workers  in industry, it didn't have a long run as when the depression hit it was deemed inappropriate and was stopped,  & Steve, Bill Jones was a fictional character, poster dated 1928,  Regards All , Keith

Interestingly the Jones Sewing machines Company of the large blue and yellow enamel signs was started by a certain William Jones ( bill ) so an unintentional link all those years later
