A rare Reeves Chocolate pocket watch tin, lithographed tinplate with hands set at 12 minutes to 2, 'Reeves Chocolate' on dial, with fob loop and impressed 'Reeves Chocolate' on reverse -2¼in. (6cm.) wide (slight wear)  Lot Number 521

Sold today in the SAS auction of the"Joan Dunk" collection for £380 plus 25% commision  (30% if using a bidding platform") ..estimate was £50 to £80 .Too much for me but definately rare...did anybody on this forum buy it ? ..Hardly any other tins in the auction.no advertising....I put a way above upper estimate bids on lots  449 and 524...no luck

sorry... not good at taking a picture from an auction site and putting it here

thanks for comments...I did leave 12 bids on items and managed to get just a crimping machine...lot 615. As an ex collector of unusual smoothing irons ,this particular iron in this auction was the best but with commission and shipping cost it will not be cheap .Having over 25 years collecting irons (all sold years ago) have not seen this one..I am keeping it..Most of the irons sold for about the correct price..Possibly shipping costs put off overseas bidders
