Continuing BBR's 'new look' catalogues during lockdown - many pages featuring some background info to items, akin to a magazine style.

Will advise when it's uploaded & viewable, and ready to bid on.

BBR's 1st auction of 2021 is now LIVE on easylive:
http://www.easyliveauction.com/.../...sky.../...

You can get the FREE hard copy of the Sunday 28 February catalogue, & bidding sheet, by clicking on the two DOWNLOAD buttons on the onlinebbr.com homepage.
Also attached here the flip catalogue:
http://online.flipbuilder.com/gbas/...index.html

Timed auctions carry a small 3.6% extra commission charge (which apparently we cannot avoid) = 15% + vat = 18% + 3.6% = 21.6%.
Thus, for calculation, if your maximum bid would normally be £100 - knock it down to £95 to soak up the easylive extra charge. If your maximum is £50 - knock it down to £47. This fits in with BBR's bidding increments. We'll add many EXTRA IMAGES next week - rear views, any close up shots of repair or damage etc. Any Q’s email me direct: alan@onlinebbr.com.

You can telephone absentee bids to BBR or alternatively email the absentee bid sheet, but please request confirmation that it's arrived.

IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to advise if you wish to ‘click & collect’ your winnings (we can store until after lock down) or that you wish us to pack & post out - at cost!
Good luck in bidding in this highly varied sale - plenty of regional rarities & drinks classics in there.

Regards... & stay safe...
Alan Blakeman & team

A unique presentation in truth, there's never been anything quite like this.

It also contains so many regional 'gems' it would be unwise to cast it off as "not of interest."

To clarify.... lot 285 IS an original early sign - must have had a dozen contacts asking if it was a modern example due to the stunning condition.

It appears to uniquely feature a date of manufacture to the rear, as per image below. I've suggested the bottom number (?) is 11 denoting perhaps only 11 examples made. It could also be a H throwing that suggestion out of the window... but hey ho - a stunner.

Elsewhere in the sale are 3 Dodo made copies from the 1970's. I remember going to that place in the early years where there was a huge range of original enamel signs to gloat over - if only we knew then what we knew now.

Their early copies carry a very clear rear stamp leaving no doubt as to their age. Good for the 'Man Cave'/ home bar - they are what they are - and have 50 yrs of age no less...

Thought it was a bum effort trixon!!

It's OK - when we travel South we take the Mick out of their posh accent, especially when they add a letter 'R' before the ss's at the end of "grass" etc.
