The story is that I acquired the sign yesterday , in a "swap" deal , as it is an iconic image and motoring signs particularly are in demand at the present time . I've got an open mind about it , might sell or swap or keep it . I don't know who is out there any more on Old Shop Stuff , times have changed and this site has not kept up with those changes unfortunately . So feel free to respond or not , as the case may be. |

Hi spence . I have cleaned as much rust staining off as i can , using neat Domestos , so I doubt that i can improve on it now . Am keeping an open mind about sell ,swap or keep at the moment . |

Great find Marcus. I am slowly building the shop side up on the site and moving away from Ebay this summer. There have been a lot of technical difficulties that have taken me a few years to sort out. Notably stock numbering has been a nightmare as I have 20,000 items to upload, but they are spread over various formats and databases with gaps in the numbering.
When all the fliers start going out at the end of the year I will hopefully bring people back and get it all going again. I have mucked about with instagram and Facebook, but just think if I put a load of nice stuff in a shop people will use it and look at the forums.

That's good news Alex , I'm sure people will come back if you can get the site back to what it was say , 3 or 4 years ago . People have been very patient but there's a limit to that patience , so don't let us down eh ?? . This is a far superior set up than other , newer sites , and everything is stored and backed up so you can research things going back years if you want to . It worked before ,Alex , and it can work again , so try and sort it out for us all ,please . |
