 This Murrati's "FUMEE D'OR" brand was first introduced in 1897. The cigarettes have Gold Tips and is live having never been opened. It has an export stamp dated 1903 and a US custom stamp. The paper label is in very good condition for its age.

Very unusual packet . I have never seen one of those .
Thanks for showing Mike . I always wonder how these fragile beautiful pieces could have survived for over a century . Perhaps  someone back then thought they were too beautiful to open , and put them away . Whoever could afford these back then was probably well off and could afford to do that .
