Unsure quite why lot 206 is strange Mike G over in far flung Canada?

We sell goods sent from worldwide - single items to complete collections. A pair of PEARS SOAP enamels are worthy of £50-60 any day of the week - stallholder stock or collectors needs for something decorative in their garden, 'man cave', rest room, not so expensive as the higher end pieces.

BBR, like most auction houses everywhere offer such breadth of material - not everyone can afford the four figure items. I always say the customer who goes home with a £30 purchase can be just as happy as the person who buys a rarity @ £3,000.

You pounced wisely in hindsight Marcus - well done though - superb condition.

I hasten to add the new owner of the BBR seller is equally over the moon too.

Cheers Alan . Seems like we're all happy then , especially your good self ! You couldn't have envisaged a price like that , 50 years down the line , when you yanked it off the wall .LOL.

Like all us "long in tooth" collectors Marcus I think we work on the premise - that one cost nowt, the other cost an arm & a leg - divide by 2 & the expensive one was half price, or just a leg or an arm?
