My friend had recently purchased this tin. It has a paper label and Manufactured by a very old company Robert Roberts & Sons. Established in 1818 at 117, Finsbury Pavement, Moorgate, London EC2. In 1910, the factory was at William St, Euston, London, NW. It was recognised as one of the oldest manufacturing businesses in London. Some of its popular brands were "Bee-Hive", "Bobs Cigarettes", "H.A.C" and "Roberts Fine Old Virginia". Any one come across this firm before??

Hi Bacco, unusual early tin from when Turkish tobacco was the fashionable smoke!
I have a 1oz tin for Willis & Roberts Golden Navy Cut, were they connected in any way?

 Hi Cabs/Relics,

Your right, it is an unusual early tin which I put at late 1890s and as Relics says - a very busy design. I don't think it has any connection to the firm Willis & Roberts.. Can you post a picture of your tin ??
