I'm sorry we don't have the cans you need. The "ball of beauty" you sent is the brand of Godfrey Phillips company, which may be sold in the Chinese market with Chinese brand name on it.

 Hi Kjeld,

The "Ball of Beauty" tin is recorded as being first introduced in 1900 and manufactured by Godfrey Phillips UK Ltd. THis firm first started manufacturing in 1844, at 112, Commercial St, London E and at 6, Little Pearl St, E. It was no doubt aimed at the Chinese market both here and abroad. At the turn of the century Godfrey Phillips had controlling interest in 10 UK companies and manufactured both in Europe and in New Zealand.. It is a nice rare tin.

Ps. Was there really a market for Chinese brands in London ca. 1900? This really tells something about "The Empire" and probably the impact of "China town"

 Hi Kjeld,,

At the turn of the century most Chinese settled in East London and Liverpool and they found it very difficult to get work and opened their own Chinese Laundry which flourished. So, i think the brand was for both the home and export market.
