I took a chance on these because they seemed special and the graphics and subject matter really popped out to me.  They are likely not in a condition that a serious collector will want as is, but could be restored for a hefty fee (400-600 for linen backing and resto).

I can only find one other example of this series of posters done by Champion Spark Plugs for the Indianapolis 500. The one I found online was through Ripley Auctions and was earlier year (1930) and also cut way down - probably due to damage.  I have looked everywhere and cannot find these.

2 of the posters seem to be from the 1950 race mentioning winner Johnny Parsons, and the other 4 are from the 1952 race featuring Troy Ruttman.  The only artist I could link was George Giusti who apparently did contract w Champion for illustrations.

These all measure 17.75 in by 31.5 in and are in very poor condition at bottom, and some have been written on as scratch paper in pencil which is a shame.  A good restorer can bring it all back though for a price.

I am hoping I can get some good advice on how to take care of them.  Are they worth $400+ to restore??
