Hi C-A,

A nicely framed glass sign with the retailers name impressed into the frame. Josiah Brown- Cigar Merchant-Long Eaton. I think that is near Nottingham!!! Can't find anything on the Le Trent brand. Probably named after Trent Bridge!! Nice sign.

I alos have match strikers and an advertising cribbage board for La Trente as well and reckon you are right about it being named after river Trent as the packet has a scene froma river on it

Just thought I would add to the Josiah Brown link by adding this tin. I have found quite a bit of stuff from this company over the years in the Nottingham area. Only ever seen one of these tins however. Sorry about repeat images... I'm out of practice!
