 Hi Bevan,

Another nice tin, pity about condition. Singleton & Cole Ltd, were established in 1870 at 22/23, Mardol, Shrewsbury.  They eventually became wholesalers as well, with  branches around the country. The "Victory" brand was introduced in 1909 and other companies also used same brand name. I don't have a photo but have seen nice ones in other collections.

There is 1oz in the Griffith book on decorative tins. Page 71 or a forum member may post one.

As a relatively new collector, compared to many on this forum, the only tins of the rarer variety that can be sourced publically are of a lesser condition than found in more established collectors collections. Hence my desire to see what a good tin would look like. The 'show and tell' of tins on this forum is of considerable value to all newbie collectors, which I believe needs to be fostered for the continuance of the hobby.

So thanks again Bacco for your continued support in this respect......
