Good selection as per usual.
May wander down.

I'd be wary of Lot 242 - the Brasso 'cut-out'. None of the original examples (of which there are only two or three known) have a border to the outside of the can and the quoted dimensions are larger. I suspect this has been the image cut out of one of the more familiar rectangular versions. I'm sure this will attract some debate.....
Isn't this the same one that was mentioned in another thread here, in connection with the TWGaze auction? And didn't it then re-appear on Ebay?

The one in the Gaze's auction looks slightly different to the one coming up at Pershore, but I am certain both have been cut from the middles of the larger signs.
You're right Steve! Now i've seen a better image I see it is not the same one! My apologies!
With regard to the Ellimans sign, am I just being paranoid or is the fact that the lower mounting holes are at different heights a sign of something sinister? Just unusual in my admittedly limited experience to see this. Clarification, correction & even ridicule most welcome!
signofthetimes, I doubt it's anything too serious, but there are signs of restoration around screw holes, so if it's been filled and redrilled, that might account for it.
