I have never seen this in forty years of collecting. Its collectable. Has it been cleaned up yet ? Maybe needs a bit of gloss. I once gave a dull sign a coat of yacht varnish, it worked a treat. |

Very pleased to call in and see Mr & Mrs Enamels1000 yesterday for a chat. Members will be pleased to know Joe is still tinkering with the motorbikes and the wild west stuff, but maybe moving back into hoarding grandfather clocks again. At least he won't be late for anything. |

It was great to see you and your good lady yesterday Steve, you're welcome anytime if you are this way on,you brought me a bit of luck as I sold the sunlight cut out sign just as you were leaving,,The courier I chose still has not collected the shoe soles signs from Cheshire,,I might as well collected them myself but I don't care for long drives now,,if you come across a veteran bike collector on your travels please mention my 1927 Francis Barnett, twin port motor cycle four grand will take it,, |

How politically incorrect; has anybody else notice the two Negro's? Sign like this wouldn't pass nowadays's ! |

Can't be Spence, they are wearing an apron. What are they carrying, big rolls of leather? Shoe shine stands? |

Ever considered they are just black in colour as this is the most effective colour to match the yellow background , make them stick out ,match the lettering and the sole of the shoe.. think u might be reading into things abit too much mick . |

They're diagrammatic. Compare their size to the sole of the shoe - either people back then had big feet or shoe repairers were midgets |

I just realized the bottom of the "genuine" sole would carry the same image of the 3 little Negros. What DOES this mean now? Stomping on the images...for shame. Unbelievable! |
