I know my reference to Dad's old collection can grate, but I remember him telling me was at a fair years back and Ken Everett had a minty flat 10 of this. He didn't want to sell. Dad ground him down and ground him down. And got it. It's one of my favourite looking cigarette tins in all honesty.

 yes Cook nipper...He did grind me down.   I purchased it from John Emmet...then swapped with Cook senior for the near mint Sandy Hook that I pictured on this site a few years ago..Strangely four weeks later I bought another Gold Plate in extremely good condition..This now sits in my cabinet ......Never seen another one for sale since
