Sorry must have missed this post . The frame is not original , but is of similar vintage to the showcard , i.e. 1890's . It was in ,an auction with a couple of other showcards ,but was unframed . Steve Burton very kindly offered to frame it for me , and put it in a contemporary plain wooden frame . I think it looks fine just as it is , and ultimately it is the card that has the appeal , not the frame . |

I was very happy to acquire it Spence , the only other thing I have is the tobacco cabinet , not much has survived of their advertising . |
