 Right, now I'm back on subject again, so hopefully this won't be deleted.  Let's play a pretend game, you're allowed a wishlist of 6 items you really want.  I'll get it going with the following half dozen items I'd love to have in my collection, but will probably never have. (If wishes were horses?)

Enamel Signs;

Just two, a St Julien Officer and Gentleman

A Red Zebra Grate Polish.

Tins;

A Sandy Hook cigarette tin,

Along with a Purple Heather, and a decent Tiger Lily cigarette tins.

A Wills Windlass tobacco tin, and as an extra, a Callard and Bowsers kittens butterscotch tin, which is the only one I need to complete the set.

it's over to the rest of you now.

 Hello Trixon,

I think this is the first time we've associated?  Anyway, nice to meet you.  Isn't there a smaller version of that sign?  I'm no expert on enamels, but I know a reproduction when I see it.

I bow to your superior knowledge Trixon.  My memory must be playing tricks on me.  So let's say the smaller version of the Zebra, I'd have trouble trying to find somewhere to put a 6 foot by 4 foot sign!

The other one I've always wanted is the Cadburys cocoa pods.  I've got a display tin though.

Ossie, you're a lucky man to have the officer and gentleman.  Interestingly, I was told years ago by another collector that there's a poster with the same design on it.  Anyone ever seen one?

Hello Collector,

Thank you for your contribution.  I know what you mean about enamels.  I love them, but they're unaffordable, unless you're lucky.  I've always gone more towards showcards, and tin signs, purely because they've been more affordable.

I have got the Colmans four seasons mustard tin, but it's in a bad way, I hope one of these days I might be able to restore it.

Anothe tin I'd love to have is a Harvy and  Daveys Torchlight Flake.  We can all dream, and maybe we should all appreciate what we've got?  Let's face it, we're only custodians of these things.  You can't take them with you, and death is non negiotable.  Grim I know, but still......

 BY THE WAY, let's try and keep this site going.  I considered what Mick G said, and have decided to persevere, even though I can't upload any photo's.  This is now down to Al, nice bloke as he is, but he really needs to do something quickly, or this site is going to die.  I've got a long association with the site, and it would break my heart if it goes under.  Pull your finger out Al!

 Hello Lummox,

Thank you.  I've got 10 C&B tins.  There's one which isn't really part of the set, with the King Charles (III?) spaniels.  It was issued year after year until at least the early 1920's.  I guess it was popular, but I don't really like it that much. The set seems to comprise of 11 tins, with that one as a sort of add on.

(RIP  HM THE QUEEN)

 Hello Lummox,

Yes, that's it, that's the one I need to complete the set.  It's a beauty, well done.  If you ever want to sell it, I'd be very interested.

Take Care.
