Wandered why goslings rather than conventional chickens have been used by Cadburys on this Easter Eggs box  any suggestions.......The nest is in a tree !!!

Ken................you need to roll back the years !! Today we associate eggs with chickens ............Go back years and people made much more use of duck eggs, geese eggs etc, Very common on the table ...and larger so more appealing all round

 Thanks..I imagine you would have to go to Harrods for exotic eggs now.. Fried egg sandwiches which is how I like my eggs .. "could I have a duck egg fried sandwich please"

The large Moss Rimmington mustard tin is in lovely condition .I have had difficulty dating it..Six sides each with an image of a victorian woman printed on thick paper and adhered to the tin..All lettering ....decoration is printed straight onto the tin
