Could have been screwed to a door or cupboard inside a shop . Nice early sign on iron .

Very nice neat sign Oddball, and as Marcus says very early as its made on pig iron.1890ish ide say?? Perhaps one of the earliest soap advertising signs that this Co produced? As for where it may of been displayed or made to be seen by the general public i wudnt say given the size that it was ever outside..omo but due to lack of damage around fixing holes it was some how attached to a box, perhaps a delivery trolley?? Whatever its purpose its a Cracking sign

Any idea of its age , does the fact its on iron make it older than other signs, sorry for the novice questions , im just struggling to date them as im newish to collecting enamel signs so any extra knowlledge would be a great help.

thanks
