 Don't think there is a " going rate " for a Black Cat any more , or ,for that matter , a "going rate " for any sign now . Prices have gone mad recently , and people just pluck a price out of thin air . There is no rhyme or reason to any of it. Could range from £500 to £4,000 depending on condition .

I've been looking for one of the Canadian Black Cat signs . They used to be affordable .. Not any more . As Marcus says , that seems to be the way of it in todays market .
Would be a very difficult time for a young or new collector to begin piecing together a collection of quality antique advertising .
