T. Nicholls & Co established in 1780. One very rarely sees Chester Tobacco Companies advertising and although this is not mine I thought with owners permission, I would show it on the forum. I have had great difficulty finding info on this company except to say that the "John PeeL" brand was still available on the Singleton & Cole price list 1930. I think it may have been absorbed by the bigger company W T Davies. I think it is a really nice image.

Here another Nicholls's tin. Looking back through my records I got this January 1990 for £3, No such bargain in January 2011 so far!

 NICE TIN  would you like to double your money !!!   when I looked on the back of my nicholls tin it was  £8. I think it was about 16 years ago. This could be a good thread.cheers  Broadie.
