i have for sale these two charringtons advertisng signs , they measure 30 inches high and are 12 inches wide , they are very heavy being made of slate which is 1/2 inch thick , the wording on these is deeply engraved and retain all thier original gilding or painting and have not been touched up in anyway , they both have thier original retaining holes at top and bottom of signs where these would have originally been fixed to the wall of a charringtons public house , i would date these to circa 1900s period .more pictures can be emailed to you if you require more pictures .for sale at £400.00 the pair (plus postage but would prefer if buyer could pick these up in kent area due to weight and size of these items ) .i can be contacted on my mobile number 07849092343 if you wish to discuss the signs thanks peter
