 Hi all,
I'm new to this website.. So I hope I'm doing things right by posting this FORUM.
I recently bought a THISTLE Spool Cotton Tin (see image) and I wanted to check if any of you guys knew anything about it. It is empty and I got it from a junk yard in the middle of nowhere in South Africa.
My questions would be:
How old is it?
What's its value?
Many thanks in advance for your feed back!

When I began collecting years ago there were not
too many reproductions but now there are hundreds. I bought a reproduction OXO tin a couple of years ago so we can all be fooled without having the tin in our hands. This tin is what I call "too good to be true" nice colors, shiny, beautiful design, but TGTBT! There are probably some clues on the tin if you closely, I've seen people trying to sell "antique" tins with a bar code on them...DUH!!!
