Thought I'd kick off this forum.

Hav'nt found much good advertising lately, BUT absolutely chuffed with these Surrey items picked up from the car boot last weekend.

Anybody out there tell me what they are ?

Anybody heard of George Frederick Watts he was part of the Pre Raphaelite Brotherhood. He had a studio at Compton, nr Guildford Surrey. When he died his wife formed The ' Compton Art  Potters Guild ' in 1899 where they made Arts and Crafts items. These 4 items are pottery pendants about 2 inches tall made in about 1905 - 1915. Well chuffed as I collect Ashtead & Compton Pottery items - both from Surrey.

Hi, definately Compton pendants, she produced many designs throughout production at the factory, they basically where fired in kiln fillers between larger vases etc, to make good use of resources and makes economical sense...Liberty & Co sold many designs in series up to about 1920. Gaz
